Temporary Project Implementation Unit for Introducing Electoral Technologies into the BiH Electoral Process Established

(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's session, adopted the Decision on establishing a temporary Unit for the implementation of the project of introducing specific electoral technologies into the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a project team within the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the purpose of realizing the project of introducing specific electoral technologies into the electoral process of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project is managed by the president and members of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who form the Project Steering Committee.

The Unit for the implementation of specific electoral technologies has been established for:

- coordinating the implementation activities of specific electoral technologies;

- supervising contract execution and protecting the interests of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

- coordinating with the supplier, municipal and city election commissions, and other institutions for the purpose of contract execution;

- managing the technical, operational, and logistical aspects of the project;

- managing cybersecurity and information system protection;

- coordinating testing, pilot elections, and operational activities;

- managing incidents and crisis situations;

- developing institutional, technical, and operational capacities of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

- ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term system sustainability;

- preparing reports, analyses, and recommendations for the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In relation to the above, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina today also appointed the Project Manager of the Unit for the implementation of the project of introducing specific electoral technologies into the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will perform the duties of leading, coordinating, and operationally managing the implementation of the project of introducing specific electoral technologies into the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
