Final competition "KLAS Innovation challenge" successfully concluded

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Eight teams composed of young innovators from various Bosnian cities participated in the final competition "Klas Innovation challenge", organized by the company Klas d.d. Sarajevo, in cooperation with Munja Inkubator and the largest info platform for young people in BiH - Hocu.ba.

During two exciting and productive days, the young competitors worked with 16 expert mentors, finalized the concepts with which they presented their solutions to real business challenges, and the competition concluded with a ceremonial announcement of the winners and the awarding of certificates to all finalists. First place went to the team Deman from Sarajevo, consisting of students Adna Ibrahimović, Amila
Mulagić and Hasiba Korman, who presented the healthy food concept „Hurryme“. They received the largest cash prize of 1500 KM.

Second place and a prize of 1000 KM was won by the team Lokum from Mostar, and for the first time at the Innovation challenge, two third places were awarded, with prizes of 500 KM each, which went to the teams Trio Gušt from Mostar and Agroekonomisti from Banja Luka.

"At Klas, we hosted 23 students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, from Mostar, Banja Luka, East Sarajevo and Sarajevo. These students had the selfless support of expert mentors from the Klas
company who guided them in their intention to present their idea in the best possible way. By visiting the Klas production facilities, they had the opportunity to learn about the production process
of certain products, and that experience helped them gain practical experience for a better presentation of the idea. With their brave and proactive approach towards Klas, these competitors are already
predestined for success, wherever and whatever they do in life", emphasized Boris Brković, General Director of Klas d.d. Sarajevo.

The expert jury consisted of Neven Hadžisulemanović (Member of the Management Board for Operational Affairs of AS Holding), Ethem Numić (Director of the Marketing and Development Directorate of AS Holding),
Boris Brković (General Director of Klas d.d.), Zlatko Ramić (Executive Director for Operational Affairs of Klas d.d.), Mirza Kasum (Executive Director for Accounting, Finance,
Controlling and IT of Klas d.d.), Senaida Tabić (Director of Sales and Marketing of Klas d.d.) and Muhamed Abazović (Director of Production of Klas d.d.).

In addition to cash prizes, the finalists receive the opportunity for internships, trainee engagements, additional education, seminars and other business opportunities at
the company Klas d.d. Sarajevo.

The "Innovation challenge" competition continues in other companies that are part of AS Holding, and the next one is organized by the company Solana Tuzla from Tuzla.
