Renewed railway line in Jablanica successfully tested

(Patria) - Željeznice FBiH tested the renewed railway line in Jablanica today.

Among other things, the bridge over which the rails were laid, and which was built by the Turkish company Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, was also tested.

Cengiz donated these works to the Government of FBiH, i.e., Željeznice FBiH, after the railway line in some locations was almost completely destroyed in the October floods in the Jablanica area.

The load test of the bridge passed successfully today, it was confirmed to Faktor.

Freight and passenger trains will likely start operating regularly on this section from next week after the operating permit is issued.

Cengiz Insaat completed the works within the expected timeframe, so their machines and workers are no longer at the construction site as of Friday.
