Search successfully concluded: Two hikers who went missing on Igman found

(Patria) - At the location of Hrasnički stan, Mount Igman, a search was launched this evening for two missing hikers.

The Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) Sarajevo received the report of the disappearance around 18:30, after which its teams immediately went to the field.

The search took place in inaccessible terrain and in conditions of approaching night. However, rescuers from GSS Sarajevo, equipped for night work in a mountain environment, quickly organized and successfully carried out the operation.

The hikers were found at 21:10 - exhausted, but uninjured and communicative. After being taken care of, they were safely escorted to their vehicles.

"Thanks to the quick reaction and professional approach of our rescuers, this operation was completed successfully and without consequences, despite the increasingly low temperatures and possible weather changes," the GSS Sarajevo stated.
