Successful young people from BiH: Alen and Elma on the lists for the provincial parliament of Austria

In most Austrian provinces, elections will be held this year where citizens will elect their representatives in municipal councils, mayors, as well as representatives for the provincial parliament, writes the news agency Patria (NAP).

On these lists, there will also be a large number of candidates who originate from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among them are two young people, 20-year-old Alen Tahić and 19-year-old Elma Jusić. They are members of the liberal party Neos.

Elma is in 9th place on the provincial list and in second place in Wels, while Alen is in 11th place on the provincial list and in second place on the list in Asten.

Elma Jusić is a law student in Linz. She says she cannot watch injustice in silence and wants everyone to have the same opportunities.

-The time has come when I realized that it is not worth complaining, but that I must actively try to change the situation, Elma tells Patria.

Alen Tahić studies social sciences in Linz.

-There is too much phobia. Man is afraid of too many things. I am not afraid to fight for my rights, the rights of all citizens, and the rights of Bosnians, Alen tells us.
