Last weekend, on 14 and 15 February 2015, the 38th Memorial International Table Tennis Tournament "Đuro Dubenik" was held in Dugo Selo. A large number of competitors from the region took part in the tournament, and our competitors were the most numerous among those coming from outside Croatia, reports the Patria news agency.
In the sub-cadet category, Bakir Husremović, a member of the club "STENS - Euro-asfalt", won first place, thus earning his first gold medal on the international stage in an extremely strong field, which included competitors from the entire region and beyond. Bakir displayed excellent table tennis and deservedly won the gold.
In addition to Bakir, the following also competed on behalf of the club "STENS - Euro-asfalt" Sarajevo: Benjamin Zijadić, Toni Ramljak, Alemka Hasečić, Mirna Hozić, Kerim Hadžić, Adem Jažić and Bajro Čavčić. They also achieved commendable results in an extremely strong field.
