KK Champion's Success: Anes Čongo Brings Bronze from World Championship in Jakarta

Anes Čongo, a member of KK Champion, has continued his excellent streak of results, returning with a bronze medal from the World Championship in Jakarta, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Last year's junior European champion, this year's bronze medalist at the European Championship for under-21, and now a bronze medalist at the World Championship for under-21, are just part of his achievements. He had 5 matches to reach the bronze medal at the World Championship.

He first defeated the representative of China with a score of 3-1, and in the next round, he faced the tournament's top favorite, the representative of Turkey, losing to him 4-2. As Ugur advanced to the final, Anes got the chance to compete in the repechage matches.

In the 1st round of the repechage, Čongo defeated the representative of Chile with a score of 7-0, and in the next round, he competed against the Belarusian, whom he defeated with a score of 2-0.

In the match for third place, he competed against the Algerian, whom he defeated with a score of 1-0.
