SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The project of the Southern Bypass of Mostar, which has been talked about for decades as a strategic project that will relieve traffic through the largest city on the Neretva River and connect it with western Herzegovina, and ultimately with Dalmatia, with a modern road, is progressing at full speed.
For the third section, the "Novi" tunnel, 996 meters long, the tender for works is underway. An analysis and evaluation of the three submitted bids for the works by JP Ceste Federacije BiH is currently being conducted, and after that, the evaluation of the bids will soon be sent to the creditor bank EBRD for approval.
As for the fourth section, from the Novi tunnel towards Rodoč, i.e., the existing M17 main road, 5 km in length, the main project documentation has been prepared, and the preparation of documentation for the supplement of the existing urban permit and land expropriation on this section is underway.
