Dunović's Office: Čavara should know that the Vice President of FBiH has no influence on delegates' votes

The office of the Vice President of the Federation of BiH, Milan Dunović, sharply reacted to the statements of the President of FBiH, Marinko Čavara, who expressed doubts that Dunović could block the adoption of laws in the FBiH Parliament, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

After the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament did not adopt the amendments to the current federal law on electricity today, Čavara told reporters that "there is obviously an interest of SNSD, DF, and SDP to create as much chaos as possible in the Federation of BiH", adding that these parties, through the Vice President of FBiH Dunović, can obstruct any law.

Dunović's cabinet explains that Vice President Dunović, according to his constitutional powers, has no possibility to vote or influence the votes of delegates in the House of Peoples of FBiH. And, accordingly, he has no possibility to block the adoption of laws!

- The new parliamentary majority decided today in a democratic manner not to adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Electricity in FBiH, which depended exclusively on the delegates present at the session and their votes, not the Vice President of FBiH! – it was announced from Dunović's office.

Regarding the readiness to "block" the work of the Government and Parliament of FBiH, Dunović's office further notes, the Vice President of FBiH showed this on Wednesday by being the first to sign the consent for the formation of the FBiH Government, reports Patria.
