Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office: Case registered against Meddžida Kreso

The Disciplinary Prosecutor has initiated a case ex officio against the President of the Court of BiH, Meddžida Kreso, N1 learns, NAP reports.

Meddžida Kreso, as stated for N1, was in contact with suspects in the Radončić and Dautbašić case, and her messages are included in the transcripts of intercepted conversations.

It was also stated that she illegally influenced cases and prevented the transfer of various criminal cases to entity courts.

The Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office issued a statement.

- The Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office has not initiated disciplinary proceedings, nor has it filed a disciplinary complaint against the President of the Court of BiH, Meddžida Kreso. We can confirm that the Office, according to established practice, has registered a case ex officio based on a media report stating a possible breach of duty. We note that Article 71, Paragraph 1 of the Law on the Council stipulates: “All proceedings or actions relating to allegations of breach of duty or inability to perform duties, which are undertaken before the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office files an official complaint, are confidential in nature”, therefore we cannot provide further details - the statement reads.
