Despite agency announcements, tonight's Baščaršija Nights program cancelled

Today, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared a Day of Mourning in honor of the victims from Prijedor whose funeral prayers were held, and all cultural events have been cancelled, writes the Patria News Agency.

However, social media began buzzing with talk that some events would still take place tonight in Sarajevo and Mostar. The misunderstanding arose because some agencies announced the venue and time of events in their announcements, which had been previously scheduled. This primarily applies to the Baščaršija Nights Festival, but everything has been postponed until tomorrow, confirmed for NAP.

- Due to the decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to declare July 20th a Day of Mourning in remembrance of the victims from Prijedor, the Baščaršija Nights Festival programs scheduled for July 20th will be moved to July 21st – say the organizers.
