Management Board Accepts Baltić's Resignation, Consultations on Acting Director to Be Held

(Patria) - At today's session of the acting Management Board of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center, the resignation of General Director doc.dr. Abel Baltić, submitted on February 23rd, was considered and accepted.

Given that the Report on Work and Financial Operations for 2022 was not adopted, Dr. Baltić submitted his resignation to the Management Board, considering it, as he stated, a logical and moral act. The decision was unanimously adopted. Dr. Abel Baltić's employment contract with the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center will terminate on March 15th, in accordance with positive legal regulations. He thanked all employees of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center for their cooperation and wished them success in their future work, according to a statement from the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center.

After the Sarajevo Canton Assembly did not adopt the Report on Work and Financial Operations of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center for 2022, the Sarajevo Canton Government dismissed the Management Board of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center, led by Admir Spahić, and appointed an acting Management Board consisting of: Dino Selimović, president, and members: Alma Juković, Namir Čomaga, Vedad Kulenović, and Enis Čavčić.

"The president of the acting Management Board of the Public Institution Sarajevo Canton Health Center, Dino Selimović, stated at the session that the Management Board will conduct the necessary consultations before making a decision on the proposal for an acting General Director, with the prior consent of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Health and Minister mr.med.sci.dr. Enis Hasanović," they stated in the announcement.
