Management in Conditions of Migrant Crises

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo has recognized the importance of education in crisis management, and in 2015 launched an academic lifelong learning program - the International Summer School „Crisis Management“, which the Faculty organized in partnership with the Velika Gorica University of Applied Sciences from the Republic of Croatia.

As a continuation of education in the field of crisis management, the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo is developing a new, multidisciplinary academic lifelong learning program – the International Summer School „Management in Conditions of Migrant Crises”.

In the implementation of this academic lifelong learning program, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University „Ss. Cyril and Methodius“ from Skopje, Macedonia, the Velika Gorica University of Applied Sciences from the Republic of Croatia, and numerous governmental and non-governmental organizations, whose primary and programmatic activity is related to crisis management arising from various unforeseen situations, are also participating.

This academic lifelong learning program – the International Summer School “Management in Conditions of Migrant Crises”, is being implemented in Skopje and Gevgelija in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, which during the great migrant crisis of 2015 was one of the significant routes for the movement of refugees towards Europe.
