Police Administration and KS Prosecutor's Office Determined to Fight All Forms of Crime

(Patria) - A working consultative meeting of the teams of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was held at the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. The meeting was led by Police Commissioner Fatmir Hajdarević and Acting Chief Prosecutor Meliha Dugalija.

The current security situation in the Sarajevo Canton area, cooperation between these two institutions, and future cooperation modalities aimed at strengthening the fight against all forms of crime, with a special emphasis on general crime, economic crime, and corruption in the Sarajevo Canton area, were discussed.

Among other things, the discussion also included more efficient handling of cases where journalists are victims, and the importance of proactive cooperation between prosecutors and investigators designated as contact points in these cases was emphasized.

It was concluded that the Police Administration and the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton have good and productive cooperation, and that the strategic commitment of both institutions is to strengthen prosecutorial and police capacities in the fight against all forms of crime.
