Warning to drivers: Mostly wet roads, increased danger of landslides

Mostly wet roads and increased danger of landslides characterize the traffic situation in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Drivers are advised to drive with maximum caution regardless of weather and traffic conditions and to always maintain a safe distance between vehicles, reports the Patria News Agency.

Due to bridge repairs in the village of Želeća on the M-17 Zenica-Žepče section, traffic is suspended and diverted to the bypass through the settlement of Rakovica. Due to mine clearance in the area on the M-1.8 Tuzla-Orašje main road (in the village of Cerik), there will be occasional half-hour traffic suspensions from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Among the roads with ongoing works, we highlight: the A-1 highway sections Visoko-Podlugovi and Sarajevo sjever-Vlakovo (Reljevo viaduct), then the main roads: Jablanica-Prozor, Doboj-Gračanica, Čelinac-Kotor Varoš and Jajce-Banja Luka, as well as the northern entrance to Mostar and passage through Mostar.

According to information gathered from the Border Police, waiting times at border crossings do not exceed 15 minutes, announced BIHAMK.
