The Swedish Muslim Council, the umbrella organization of Muslims in Sweden, called on Muslims in all major cities today to draw the attention of the local authorities and public to the increasingly frequent mosque burnings through peaceful street gatherings, Patria's reporter from Sweden reports.
Bosniaks from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who gather in this country within the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Sweden, also joined the peaceful protests.
Around 2,000 people gathered in Stockholm. The peaceful protests were secured by strong police forces.
