Warning to citizens: Sunny and hot, take protective measures

Sunny and hot weather will prevail in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the afternoon and evening hours, stronger cloud development in Bosnia will cause short-term local showers, writes the Patria news agency.

- Wind weak, of variable direction. Lowest morning air temperature mostly between 14 and 20 °C, in the south from 20 to 25 °C. Highest daily air temperature generally between 33 and 39 degrees Celsius - said the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute. 

From Thursday to Sunday, high daily air temperatures are expected in our country. Expected values from 32 to 38 degrees. On Friday and Saturday, locally in the north and south of Bosnia and Herzegovina up to 40 degrees, and on Sunday a degree or two higher. Therefore, an alarm has been issued warning of caution.

Sunny, warm, without pronounced oscillations, but also without freshness during the night hours, therefore it is advisable to avoid strenuous activities and take measures to protect against heat and solar radiation. During the hottest part of the day, outdoor movement should be reduced.
