Meet Adi, the guy who completed three faculties but has no job

In today's time when there are fewer and fewer people in the true sense of the word and when man is a wolf to man, a shining example is the young, proven humanist Adi Salčinović from Zenica, who these days for his selfless help and support to the vulnerable and those who truly need the help of others, received the award for the youngest philanthropist organized by the Mozaik Foundation, reports the reporter of the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP). 

If you perhaps haven't heard of him until now, it is because he never liked to boast about what he does, precisely because he does it from the heart and out of his personal convictions, but from the shadows.

Adi Salčinović is a person who completed three faculties, but has no permanent employment. You are surely wondering: „How is that possible?“. Yet he did not give in to hopelessness and decided to do something both for himself and for others.

He is one of the founders of the association INPUT, through which he wants to help young people affirm themselves in society and through practice show what they learned at faculties. He helped the little ones from the Institution „Dom porodica“ Zenica by organizing educational and creative workshops, helping with learning. Besides at the JU „Dom porodica“ he is also active and unconditionally provides help to children with special needs. In addition to the little ones, he regularly socializes with elderly persons accommodated in the Home for the Elderly Zenica. 

They say that heroes are known in hardship, and so this brave man showed himself in the May floods when, with his Association INPUT, he organized workshops in foreign languages, informatics and creative workshops for children from the Nemila area, and participated in the distribution of aid for those affected by the floods.

All of this was enough for the Mozaik Foundation to recognize in Adi a person who is socially responsible, who helps others and who wants to solve problems around us, and who in return wants nothing else but a sincere human smile because that is what gives meaning to our lives. 

- I will continue to persevere in my ideas, to listen to my heart and help people as much as I can and in my own way. Incidentally, the Mozaik Foundation is the leading socially entrepreneurial organization in the region, whose vision is an economically and socially strong BiH, founded in 2002. Through the awarding of grants, they support informal groups of young people and organizations whose actions bring economic and social benefits.
