BHRT employees to protest in front of the BiH Parliament on November 27, special program to be broadcast

(Patria) - The public service of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the final phase of collapse because domestic competent institutions, primarily the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are not implementing the laws it has adopted and are not fulfilling their role as founder, legislator, and guardian of the public interest.

For this reason, the editorial boards of BHT1 and BHR1 will send a letter to all state, entity, and international institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the letter, they remind that the violation of the Law on the Public RTV System by Radio Television of Republika Srpska has been tolerated for years, whose debts to BHRT have exceeded the amount of 100,000,000 KM. This debt today poses a threat to the survival of BHRT.

The program is jeopardized, but despite this, no important event has taken place without being covered by the cameras and microphones of BHRT.

"Dear citizens, we thank you for paying the RTV fee. Although it is not being paid and distributed in accordance with the law, you still manage to keep the public media service alive.

On November 27, 2025, we will protest in front of the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and broadcast a special program in which we will condemn the violation of the law and the inaction of those responsible. We invite everyone, except politicians, to join us and thus contribute to our fight for the bare survival of the public RTV service of Bosnia and Herzegovina," BHRT announced.

On that very day, the first joint session of both houses of the BiH PA, "DEPUTIES/DELEGATES ASK - COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF BiH ANSWERS," will be held in the BiH PA, followed by a regular session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA.
