(Patria) - Associations of victims and witnesses of genocide and the Movement "Mothers of the Enclaves of Srebrenica and Žepa" have issued a statement regarding the proposal to detain six suspects for genocide in Srebrenica.
"Following the information that the court is considering detention for six arrested individuals, we wish to make it clear through this statement that the aforementioned individuals are accused of the most heinous crimes known to law, and we consider any release to be shameful.
If the Court decides to release them, despite the fact that all, absolutely all, who have been accused or convicted so far have fled to Serbia upon gaining their freedom, we will hold the judge responsible and an accomplice in this act, and demand proceedings against the judge.
After all the escapes, enough with the releases," these associations state.
