KCUS Management Board Appoints Sebija Izetbegović as Director, General Hospital to be Closed!

A session of the KCUS Management Board was held today to discuss the appointment of the director of the largest clinical center in BiH, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Sebija Izetbegović attended the interview and was appointed as the Director of KCUS, Patria has learned from sources within the Management Board.

We remind you that the Management Board was appointed in November 2015 with the aim of replacing the then director Rusmir Mesihović, but he himself resigned in early December due to immense pressure. After his resignation, the KCUS Management Board appointed Haris Tanović as acting director of KCUS until the completion of the tender procedure.

This position has eluded Sebija Izetbegović twice before, who headed the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", but this time Izetbegović had the support of the Management Board, where most of her friends and acquaintances are.

The FBiH Government temporarily appointed Jasmin Kapetanović (President), Goran Stojkanović, Benjamin Kulovac, Amer Ovčina, Ferihu Ćatibušić, Samir Muminović, Sulejman Muminović, Nusret Popović, Dragan Salomon (withdrew, replaced by Dalibor Kolak), Amra Karić, and Alma Pehlić (members) to the KCUS Management Board for three months.

As Patria has previously reported, Izetbegović used the situation with the temporary Management Board to become the director of KCUS, and then to merge the General Hospital with KCUS, and preparations for this have already begun.
