UIO Board agrees to allocate additional 3.5 million KM for border crossing on Bratunac - Ljubovija bridge

BiH, (Patria) - The Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of BiH gave its consent today at the continuation of the 30th session to approve an additional 3.5 million KM from the budget of BiH institutions for the construction of the border crossing with Serbia, on the bridge between Bratunac and Ljubovija.

After the UIO Board gave its consent for an additional 3.5 million KM on top of the planned 11 million KM, conditions were created for this decision to be adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH, after which the UIO will be able to initiate procedures for announcing a tender for the construction of this international border crossing, which will have inspection supervision.

At today's session, there was no agreement to adopt decisions on provisional settlements between the entities for previous years, nor decisions on determining provisional coefficients for the distribution of funds from the single account for the period July - September 2018, and these items will be on the agenda of the next session as well.

The UIO Board considered the initiative of the Employers' Association of FBiH for amendments to the Rulebook on the Application of the VAT Law, and it was concluded that the UIO should analyze how these requests can be realized and, depending on that, propose an adequate solution for the next session.
