Mehmed Spaho's grandson assimilates Bosniaks into Serbs

Sulejman Spaho, president of the recently founded Association of Serbs of Muslim Faith, presented in Loznica the work of that NGO, which has about 50 members.

The association plans to provide expert assistance to its members and participate in solving their social and economic problems, Patria reports.

- We will work as we believe every honest citizen of Serbia should work for their country. We have been living together here for centuries and we want it to remain so in the future. We will have a legal service and will react to any insult on a national basis - Spaho said.

He announced the holding of the association's assembly in Loznica at the end of February 2016 and the arrival, as he said, of his great friend Emir Kusturica.

He is a deputy of Šešelj's Serbian Radical Party from Loznica, about whom Radovan Karadžić spoke most kindly, even at the Tribunal trial. Sulejman Spaho is, incidentally, the grandson of Mehmed Spaho, the leader of Muslims before World War II. He became known when he stopped the passage of "Women in Black" through Loznica to the funeral in Srebrenica.
