UNSA to promote 4,868 graduates and master's students on Saturday, including 57 Golden Badge recipients

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The ceremonial promotion of graduates and master's students of the University of Sarajevo will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, starting at 11:00 AM at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC). Due to the hygienic-epidemiological situation, the ceremony will be attended by recipients of the Golden Badge award, while recipients of the Silver Badge and the UNSA Charter will follow the ceremony via the Zoom platform. All other graduates and master's students will be able to watch the live broadcast of the Ceremonial Promotion on Television Sarajevo and via the YouTube channel of the University of Sarajevo.

At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, the Vice-Rector of the University of Sarajevo, and deans of faculties and academies will promote 4,868 graduates and master's students of the University of Sarajevo. As part of the ceremony, 209 recipients of special recognitions of the University of Sarajevo will be presented: the Golden Badge of the University of Sarajevo, the Silver Badge of the University of Sarajevo, and the Charter of the University of Sarajevo.

Based on the decision of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo, the most successful students of the first and second cycle of studies received special recognitions. In the first cycle of studies, 33 graduates were awarded the Golden Badge, the highest recognition of the University of Sarajevo, 78 graduates were awarded the Silver Badge, and 5 graduates received the Charter of the University of Sarajevo.

Among students of the second cycle of studies, 21 master's students were awarded the Golden Badge, 44 the Silver Badge, and 4 students received the Charter of the University of Sarajevo.

In the integrated study program of the first and second cycles, 3 students were awarded the Golden Badge, and 21 students the Silver Badge.

The best student of the first cycle of studies in 2021 with an average grade of 10.00 is Amar Kurić from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The best student of the second cycle of studies in 2021 with an average grade of 9.98 is Adna Škamo from the Faculty of Law.
