University of Tuzla Promotes 344 Graduates: 'We Want to Stay in Our Homeland'

(Patria) - The University of Tuzla today promoted 344 graduates, masters, and doctors of science who completed their studies at six faculties.

Approximately as many from other faculties will be promoted by the end of the year. This is a significant success not only for the graduating students but also for the parent university, which celebrates 49 years of existence this year.

Six years of diligent study, regular fulfillment of obligations, and sacrifices were on Lejla Hasić's path to achieving her dream of becoming a doctor. The continuation of that dream is to stay in her homeland and find employment.

- However, I must emphasize that the situation in the country is not the best; we all know how people get employed, and today I will have the opportunity to draw everyone's attention to the fact that we must return to a system where effort and dedication, i.e., everything a person does honestly, must bear fruit, and the best fruit for someone is to work in their profession - said Hasić.

Most of the others promoted today have similar desires and aspire to dedicate themselves to their future professions.

- Today's event is a celebration and very special for all of us, and it is not only the culmination of our education but also a conscious and conscientious assumption of responsibility for everything that lies ahead.

In my profession, educational-rehabilitation science, I want to transfer my experience and knowledge. I hope to persevere in that work and remain true to myself - says Lana Stanić.

This is the direction they were guided in during the process of acquiring their academic degrees.

- Of course, the most important fact is that these young people, based on their knowledge and skills, understand that they must continue to create their future.

They should not leave themselves to chance and inertia, they should not leave themselves to the will of others, but they must make their plans and bravely, decisively move into the future - said the Rector of the University of Tuzla, Amir Karić.

The University of Tuzla offers studies in 128 study programs, from biomedical through technical and humanities to social sciences - within three cycles of study, at 12 faculties and one art academy, writes Federalna.ba.
