University of Sarajevo to promote 3,769 graduates and master's degree holders

(Patria) - The ceremonial promotion of graduates and master's degree holders of the University of Sarajevo will be held today starting at 12:00 PM at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC).

At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, vice-rectors of the University of Sarajevo, and deans of faculties and academies will promote 3769 female and male graduates, and female and male master's degree holders of the University of Sarajevo.

Within the ceremony, 201 recipients of special recognitions of the University of Sarajevo will be presented: the Golden Badge of the University of Sarajevo, the Silver Badge of the University of Sarajevo, and the Charter of the University of Sarajevo, as well as the best students of the first and second cycle of studies and integrated studies in 2023.

According to the ceremony program, addresses are planned from officials at the cantonal, federal, and state levels, as well as from University of Sarajevo alumnus Damir Imamović, a musician, author, researcher, and doctoral student at the University of Sarajevo. The musical program will feature the vocal ensemble of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo under the direction of Mr. Emanuel Josić, then the Multipercussion duo – Emili Mišić and Teo Udović, students of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo from the class of Prof. Mr. Davor Maraus, and University of Sarajevo alumnae: Alma Ferović Fazlić, Melisa Hajrulahovic Tomić, and Sara Vojičić, performing the song You can drive a person crazy from the musical Company.

Diploma award ceremonies will be organized at the faculties and academies of the University of Sarajevo.
