University 'Džemal Bijedić' marks 44 years of operation

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar will mark 44 years of operation with a series of events over the next two weeks.

The program begins on February 8th with laying flowers at the bust of Džemal Bijedić on the plateau in front of the University Rectorate, and on February 9th, publications issued by the University in 2020 will be presented.

On Thursday, February 11th, at 11 AM in the Mostar Cultural Center, a formal Senate session will be held, and a day later in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Rector's awards will be presented to the best students.

For Saturday, February 13th, a promotion and awarding of diplomas from faculties and university studies is scheduled.

A ceremony on the occasion of signing employment contracts with new assistants will be held on February 15th, a presentation of student projects from the Faculty of Information Technologies is scheduled for February 16th, a presentation of international projects on February 17th, and a presentation of scientific research projects on February 18th.

The promotion of Doctors of Science will be held in the large hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering on Friday, February 19th, at 1 PM.
