UNIS-Group to file criminal charges against Dodik's minister

The business entity UNIS-Group d.o.o. Ilidža will file criminal charges against the resigned Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Boris Tučić, if it does not receive a signed permit for the export of arms and military equipment from the competent Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria News Agency.

-Resignation does not absolve Tučić of responsibility for abuse of official position, nor the deputy minister, who, in accordance with the Law on the Council of Ministers of BiH, is authorized to perform the function of minister in this case.

UNIS-Group believes that the real reason for the resignation of Boris Tučić, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, is the fear of criminal responsibility for abuse of position.

Tučić is afraid due to the restriction of free movement of goods and placing certain business entities in an unequal position, thereby causing serious repercussions and harmful consequences for the economy of BiH, as well as other harmful consequences, and serious economic and other consequences outside the territory of BiH, for which a prison sentence of six months to five years is prescribed.

We emphasize that the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the Law on Control of Foreign Trade of Goods and Services of Strategic Importance for the Security of BiH, is not competent in any way for the foreign trade policy of Bosnia and Herzegovina (as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already given its consent), contrary to what Milorad Dodik states and misleads the public with in his media appearances.

According to no law in Bosnia and Herzegovina is Dodik competent for policies and cases that fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Council of Ministers of BiH, and therefore not competent to comment on them.

By substituting theses, Dodik is trying to raise the issue of exporting arms and military equipment to Ukraine to a political level, which is unacceptable, it was stated in the announcement.
