Unis-Energetika to heat Campus from Friday

Due to the exclusive interest of students and the urgent need to re-establish the heating function of the buildings in the UNSA "Campus", an agreement was reached today with "Unis-Energetika", which will again provide heating for this complex starting tomorrow, it was announced from the KS Government, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

This is the result of a meeting between the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Elmedin Konaković, ministers in the Canton Government, the director of "Sarajevogas" Nihada Glamoč, student representatives, and the rector of the University of Sarajevo Muharem Avdispahić.

- As the Government of Sarajevo Canton, we can help in negotiating this problem, which we did today. However, the Canton Government is not a party to the agreements and contracts concluded by faculties as separate legal entities with the company 'Unis-Energetika' regarding the provision and payment of heating. We support the independence of faculties, even in cases like this. The most important thing is that the classrooms will be warm again tomorrow, but this is not a systemic solution. We cannot find it now at the beginning of the heating season when everyone is pushed against the wall, without the possibility of a better solution. We will certainly resolve this matter definitively in the spring - emphasized Prime Minister Konaković.
