Improving the educational process in schools for children with special needs

A discussion on improving the educational process in schools for children with special needs was the reason for today's meeting of the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of KS Elvir Kazazović with the directors of the Center for Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation Naim Salkić, the School for Secondary Vocational Education and Work Training Edin Pito, the Center "Vladimir Nazor" Zulfo Ahmetović, the Institute "Mjedenica" Selma Hadžić, and the Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth Damir Ovčina, it was announced from the relevant ministry, reports the Patria News Agency.

 

During the meeting, it was emphasized that school principals should propose models for better and more efficient work with children to the relevant ministry within existing costs, all with the aim of providing the highest quality services to these boys and girls.

I will support any proposal that will improve the work of these institutions and enable children better educational conditions", emphasized Minister Kazazović.

On this occasion, it was proposed to reactivate the idea of training staff for working with children with special needs at the University of Sarajevo, and to launch an initiative for cooperation between these educational institutions and the ministries of health and social policy, in order to include them in the financial support for these educational processes, the statement said.
