The humanity of BiH citizens at a time when BiH is fighting its biggest natural disaster leaves many speechless, as people in such a situation do not ask about names or faiths, but donate and give as much as they can. Thus, M. M. from Vogošća (full name known to NAP news agency) has fascinated even his closest friends by deciding to donate all the money he had saved for a trip to the World Cup in Brazil to people who have lost everything.
His condition for sharing his story with the Patria news agency was that his name not be mentioned anywhere. Otherwise, M. M. was born in 1987, is married with two children, and has been constantly in his van since the beginning of the floods, transporting humanitarian aid.
- Please, I know what it means to have nothing, and of course, I have been involved in aid collection efforts from the beginning. I have a company and I have been saving money for a trip to Brazil for a long time, but I realized that this Brazil makes no sense now. It is better to help people. I have already found a family in Olovo whose house I will rebuild, and I am looking for more families to help. I will not give money, but I will finance all the work myself – says M. M., once again asking that his name and photograph not be published.
He himself had a very difficult life, and it is fascinating that his house still does not have a facade, but he assessed that he can currently do without it.
- What do I need a facade for now when people don't even have a room. I want to help others, and I will watch the World Cup on TV. I think others should also think about it and donate everything they have in excess in such a situation – added M. M.
