Instead of CEO and Director Jašarević, the FBiH Government "Replaced" Džananović!?

At today's session, the FBiH Government gave consent for the adoption of a Decision on limiting the powers of the Executive Director for Distribution, a member of the Management Board of this public enterprise, Esed Džananović, which constitutes an abuse of authority, writes the Patria news agency.

By this decision, Džananović loses all powers to represent and act on behalf of Elektroprivreda BiH, as well as other powers defined by the Statute and other acts of the Company. However, according to the Statute of Elektroprivreda BiH, only the General Director, in this case Bajazit Jašarević, delegates powers to executive directors. Yet, the FBiH Government reacted even before the Supervisory Board!?

Particularly interesting is the explanation of the FBiH Government, which characterized Džananović's detention as an "objective impediment to performing work." The Statute clearly states that due to this objective impediment, Džananović should have been immediately dismissed, as from the day of his arrest he was unable to perform the function of a Management Board member, and his employment should have been terminated.

- The limitation of powers lasts until the cessation of circumstances that led to the objective impediment to performing the function of Executive Director for Distribution. The Government also gave consent to the Supervisory Board of Elektroprivreda BiH for adopting a Decision on the temporary reassignment of his powers to the Executive Director for Production and Management Board member Nevad Ikanović - states the decision of the FBiH Government.

This means that upon his release from detention, Džananović will again perform the function of Executive Director in Elektroprivreda.
