A summer downpour and heavy rain surprised residents of some cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, writes the Patria News Agency.
Although meteorologists announced showers and unstable weather, in Zenica and Sarajevo, citizens arrived at work wet this morning. Traffic also slowed down after the heavy rain, as rivers literally flowed through the streets.
Photographs from Zenica speak volumes about the intensity of the rain, and thunder was registered in the western, central, and eastern parts. It was mostly sunny in the south of Herzegovina.
