Sarajevo's streets painted in burgundy

Football Club Sarajevo is playing its first match tonight, starting at 8:30 PM, as part of the 3rd qualifying round for the Europa League. The opponent for the burgundy team will be Atromitos FC from Greece, writes the Patria News Agency.

FK Sarajevo fans have been arriving in the main streets of Sarajevo since the afternoon, and Titova and Ferhadija streets are literally painted in burgundy. The fans will head to the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium together, and the meeting point is on the plateau in front of the Cathedral.

In a conversation with the NAP reporter, all expressed optimism and hope that Sarajevo can eliminate the Greeks. Atromitos is a football club from the town of Peristeri in Athens, which plays in the Greek Super League, the elite football competition of this country. It was founded in 1923, and plays its home games at the Peristeri stadium with a capacity of 10,200 seats.
