Kasima Prohića Street: Hole unrepaired for months, turns into a puddle with heavier rain

In Kasima Prohića Street in the Sarajevo settlement of Dobrinja 3, a hole that opened in the middle of the road in early July has not been repaired for months. For two full weeks, the hole posed a danger to pedestrians and cars, and someone even placed a chair in the hole, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

After the media published the photo, the Municipality of Novi Grad engaged a contractor who only filled the hole with gravel, but this part of the road has not been asphalted to this day.

Given that this is one of the busiest streets in this part of Dobrinja, a depression quickly formed due to passing cars, and with every heavier rain, the hole fills with water, and the gravel is scattered across the street.

We hope that the local authorities will use the time before the elections to asphalt the damaged part so that it is not an eyesore for the settlement or the municipality itself.
