In the Breza settlement of Župča, around 2 PM today, the funeral prayer was held for miner Amir Avdukić, who was injured on Sunday in the RMU Breza pit and died a few days later at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, reports the Patria news agency.
Relatives, neighbors, friends, work colleagues, and fellow miners attended the final farewell of 21-year-old Amir, who was buried at the local cemetery in Župča.
Avdukić, we recall, was seriously injured in the pit due to falling material, specifically a column that struck him, causing severe injuries to his head, spine, and lungs.
