(Patria) - The Health Insurance Fund of Sarajevo Canton, led by a management that strongly advocates for modernization and service improvement, once again shows that the insured person is at the center of all activities.
As of September 22, 2025, the Fund allows insured persons to replace expired electronic health insurance cards with new ones – with just one visit to the counter.
How does it work?
1. Via the portal www.kzzosa.ba or www.ezk.ezoblak.ba, submit an e-Application by entering your insurance number and card number.
2. After registration, you will receive a unique code with which you can:
- track the status of your submitted application,
- check the current insurance status.
3. The status of the application can be checked by entering the code, but also via the insurance number and card number.
4. You only visit the counter once – to pick up your new insurance card.
Advantages of the new service
· Simplicity – the application process is fully digitized and paperless.
· Transparency – the status of the application and insurance is available at all times.
· Efficiency – reduced queues, expedited procedures, and availability of information in one place.
Insured persons can find answers to frequently asked questions, as well as phone numbers for additional information, in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.
By introducing new digital solutions, the Fund's management confirms its vision of a strong and digitally oriented institution that facilitates access to health insurance rights and puts insured persons at the center of attention.
Expired electronic health insurance cards are valid until December 31, 2025, and insured persons are invited to replace them in a timely manner.
