(Patria) - Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Nihad Uk met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Valeri Ivanov Yotov. During the meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, with a special focus on culture as a space that naturally connects people, ideas, and values.
Prime Minister Uk expressed gratitude to the ambassador for the continuous support that Bulgaria provides to the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that Sarajevo Canton recognizes culture as a strategic sector.
"In Sarajevo Canton, culture is experiencing a true revival. We are investing more than ever before, renovating infrastructure, supporting local creators, and opening doors to cooperation with the whole world. Bulgaria is an important partner for us, and we want to build new cultural bridges between Sarajevo and Sofia. We are ready for deeper cooperation through the exchange of exhibitions, artist residencies, and connecting institutions from both countries," said Prime Minister Uk.
The meeting concluded with a mutual desire to concretize cooperation through joint projects in the coming months.
