UK proposed a minister: I expect support for Pandurević, Softić-Kadenić will lead the higher education sector

(Patria) - This Tuesday, Nihad Uk, Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton (Our Party), was a guest on the morning program of Federal Television's Political Minutes with Dejan Regoje.

Uk confirmed that yesterday he initiated the procedure for the reconstruction, or rather the appointment of a minister of communal economy, to replace Bojan Bošnjak, and that minister is Mladen Pandurević.

"He is a person with a lot of 'experience under his belt' and can adequately bear the burden of this large ministry. Today and tomorrow are technical matters concerning the KS Assembly, and I expect the session to be scheduled for either Wednesday or Thursday. We have a preliminary agreement within the coalition, and I expect Pandurević to receive support," said Uk.

Referring to the ministry of minister Adna Mesihović, who has been detained, he said that the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth will be taken over by the Minister of Justice and Administration, Darja Softić-Kadenić, "until certain things happen - her release or a new minister".

"As soon as we receive official information from the Court, we will agree on the next steps," Uk stated.

Pandurević was born in 1967 in Sarajevo and has been associated with the leadership of the Employers' Association of FBiH for years. He taught at a school, worked in several public and private companies, and has extensive work experience.

At the end of May 2024, he was elected president of the Serb Civic Council - Movement for Equality in BiH.
