UK confirms that the election of four members of the Management Board of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund will be annulled

(Patria) - Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Nihad Uk said at today's session of the KS Assembly that the competition for the election of four members of the Management Board of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund will be annulled, even though the competition procedure has been completed and four names are known.

Uk said that they received an "alarm from the Office for Combating Corruption and Quality Management that not only the competition procedure but also the method of election was not carried out in accordance with the law".

"The KS Government will annul this competition at one of its next sessions. The Management Board of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund has nine members, and currently has five, with four positions vacant, which is sufficient for making decisions.

The competition was completed back in September, but the Government has since received a letter from the Office, as Uk explained."
