UK DENIES INVOLVEMENT How and on whose order was Žana Sudžum engaged in the Expert Service of the KS Government?

(Patria) - KS Prime Minister Nihad Uk denied that he engaged Žana Sudžum, a member of the Socialist Party of RS, in the Expert Service of the Sarajevo Canton Government, reacting to the text first published by Istraga.ba.

"I have nothing to do with the engagement of Žana Sudžum through a work contract. Her engagement is not the result of my decision, nor did I have any influence on it. The Expert Service of the KS Government, which signed this contract, represents a separate legal entity with its head, who is solely responsible for this type of engagement," Nihad Uk stated in a social media post.

For the Klix portal, the secretary of the KS Government, who heads the Expert Service of the KS Government, Mersiha Šabaredžović-Klačar, confirmed that she engaged Sudžum. To justify her political affiliation, Šabaredžović-Klačar said, "you know how many people in Sarajevo Canton work on work contracts who were candidates in elections and are now councilors. I still don't know who the president of SP is."

Patria has also written about some cases of such practices, and given the published register of work contracts, it is easily verifiable which minister engaged party members or those who did not get elected to councils or other levels of government.

When asked who urged her engagement, she said it was realized on the recommendation of colleagues from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo. We expect the Faculty of Political Sciences of UNSA to clarify why, if they did, they gave a recommendation, what criteria they followed, and why it had to be a public service in Sarajevo Canton, and not, for example, an engagement at FPN itself.

Incidentally, Žana Sudžum's mother is the head of the Communications Department in the Ministry of Transport and Communications of BiH, whose minister is Edin Forto.

And they say coincidences exist. Probably so in this case too.
