Government and ministers offered nothing to the Union Coordination: No salary increases, protests to follow in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government building

(Patria) - A meeting of the Union Coordination of Sarajevo Canton and the Government of Sarajevo Canton regarding negotiations on the base for salary calculation in 2025 was held today in the Sarajevo Canton building, where the Government did not offer
any salary increase to workers.

Representatives of the Union Coordination then left the negotiations and made a decision to hold protests.

The protest rally will take place in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government building, on the street of Reis Džemaludin Čaušević, and the date of the protest will be determined later.

The protest rally is organized and held with the aim of expressing general dissatisfaction with the attitude of the Sarajevo Canton Government regarding the issue of salary increases for workers in 2025.

The persons responsible for organizing and holding the protest rally are the presidents of the unions that make up the Union Coordination.

We remind you that today's meeting at the Sarajevo Canton Government followed a press conference of the Union Coordination where union presidents expressed general dissatisfaction of workers in the public sector in the area of Sarajevo Canton due to the attitude of the Sarajevo Canton Government regarding the issue of salary increases for workers in 2025.
