(Patria) - Authorized officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority at the Klobok border crossing, between
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, temporarily seized a larger quantity of unreported textiles, valued at approximately 233,000 BAM.
During a detailed inspection of an imported shipment of textile goods arriving at the Klobok border crossing, a larger quantity of textiles not declared to the BiH customs authorities was discovered. This involved 2,690 pieces of various textile goods (t-shirts, shirts, shorts, tracksuits, jackets), with a total market value estimated at 233,000 BAM.
The goods in question were temporarily seized, with a Certificate of Temporary Seizure of Items issued, and an appropriate procedure will be initiated against the importer before the competent court.
During the execution of measures within their jurisdiction by authorized UIO officials, specialized equipment was used, donated by the U.S. Embassy in BiH, through the EXBS Program, as well as by UNDP/UNODC.
