UIO BiH accepts offer: Dodik's kum gets 99 million KM for building in Banja Luka

(Patria) - The Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of Bosnia and Herzegovina has accepted the offer of the company "Grand trade" owned by Mile Radišić, from which it will purchase a building for the needs of that institution for 99 million KM, it has been confirmed for Capital.

The procurement was divided into two lots: one for the purchase of an existing building for housing employees and accompanying equipment for the main office, while the other lot sought space for the Banja Luka Regional Center.

Radišić asked for 66.6 million KM including VAT for the first lot, and 27.3 million KM for the second.

UIO Director Zoran Tegeltija today signed the decision selecting "Grand trade" as the most favorable bidder, and the contract with him will be signed after the appeal period ends.

The UIO has tried several times in the last few years, through a public call, to purchase a building in which to house its employees.

Regularly, the only bidder was the company "Grand Trade", owned by Mile Radišić, who is the godfather of the president of the SNSD and the RS, Milorad Dodik.

This procurement has been the subject of criticism from the opposition in the Republika Srpska entity for years.

Even the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Anti-Corruption Commission, adopted conclusions calling on the UIO BiH to abandon the purchase of the building owned by Radišić.

However, that was not an obstacle for this procurement to eventually be realized.
