UIO BiH: Large quantity of used cars and car parts seized in Prnjavor area

(Patria) - Authorized officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina carried out intensified operational activities in the area of the City of Prnjavor.

Acting on intelligence information, they checked the origin of goods and found several used passenger motor vehicles, chassis, and a large quantity of used car parts for luxury motor vehicles for which the person with whom the disputed goods were found did not possess documentation of origin, or documentation to prove that customs procedures had been carried out on the goods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For the reasons stated above, the disputed goods with a market value estimated at approximately BAM 192,000.00 were temporarily seized, and an appropriate procedure will be initiated against the perpetrator of the described illegalities before the competent court.
