Two police officers arrested for taking money during traffic stops

(Patria) - By order and under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS, investigators of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, as part of the operation codenamed "Abstergo", arrested Adnan Duhović and Nermin Džindo, police officers of the Centar police administration for corrupt criminal offenses.

Specifically, they are suspected of the criminal offenses of receiving gifts or other benefits and abuse of position or authority.

The KS Prosecutor's Office accuses them of demanding money from drivers who committed traffic violations during traffic stops in May and June of this year, primarily so as not to sanction them, i.e., issue a violation order.

They are currently undergoing criminal processing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, after which they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the acting prosecutor.
