Čović's reputation shaken in the international community, he will have to prove he wants progress in BiH

Although many fear that Dragan Čović could obstruct the formation of government in the Federation of BiH, which has not been established nearly four months after the General Elections in the country, such a move could actually be suicidal for the leader of HDZ BiH himself.

Sources of the Bosnian news agency Patria from international community circles claim that a large number of foreign officials were not thrilled by Dragan Čović's victory in the last elections in BiH, primarily due to his association with scandals in which the state treasury was damaged by multi-million amounts.

- Čović is not well-regarded by a significant number of foreign diplomats who have shown interest in helping Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is now up to him whether he will convince them otherwise or deepen the gap between himself and the international community - this source claims.

- And, this is precisely the time when Čović will show his true face. He will demonstrate whether he truly works in the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, or if he is capable of blocking the progress of the entire country for personal interests, or even worse, for the interests of the president of the BiH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who has so far repeatedly shown himself to be an enemy of all peoples in BiH.

Sources of the Patria agency claim that the Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović also has serious objections to Čović, before whom the leader of HDZ BiH will also have to prove that he wants peace, stability, and prosperity in the region, writes Patria.

The Main Committee of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) last night in Tuzla confirmed that it will support the election of the Vice President of the FBiH from the Serbian people, thus unblocking the formation of government in this BiH entity and making a step towards the formation of state government, but the winning parties, primarily HDZ BiH, will have to show great seriousness when distributing ministerial positions in the Federation, where further blocking of government formation in the Federation, and thus BiH, could also occur, writes NAP.
