His Facebook profile was shut down: Who is bothered by Muhamed ef. Velić

The profile of the well-known Sarajevo imam Muhamed ef. Velić, who is particularly active on social networks and followed daily by tens of thousands of young people, has been shut down and deactivated on Facebook, reports the Patria news agency.

This was done by the Facebook administration, allegedly due to violations of Facebook rules. And this happened on the eve of the blessed 27th night of Ramadan. 

However, since Imam Velić writes very interesting and mostly religious posts, which attract a huge number of young people, and these posts are often directed towards national awareness, he was most likely the target of virtual attackers, who reported him for harassment from several different addresses, or someone tried to access his profile from different places and addresses, leading Facebook to deactivate his profile. 

But, as he says, he has recently received messages from people of Orthodox faith and Serbian nationality who attacked Islam and the Quran as God's true revelation.

In the last few days, he also addressed the issue of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić's arrival in Potočari for the funeral, strongly condemning the violence, but also Vučić's presence in Potočari at the funeral. Apparently, someone did not like that. 

We believe that Facebook should be informed that this is a mistake and that they should reactivate Velić's profile as soon as possible. However, this is also proof that a real virtual "war" is being waged on the internet between patriots and those who want to suppress this country, the Bosniak nation, and their faith.
