(Patria) - UEFA has appointed referees for the Europa League third qualifying round matches in which Bosnian-Herzegovinian representatives Sarajevo and Zrinjski will participate.
The team from Sarajevo will host Budućnost from Podgorica at Bilino Polje on Thursday, and this match has been assigned to the well-known Spanish referee, Jose Maria Martinez Sanchez.
He is a referee who is quite well-regarded in Spain, and last season he showed as many as 158 yellow cards and nine red cards in a total of 27 official matches.
On the other hand, Zrinjski will visit APOEL, and that match will be officiated by the Polish referee Daniel Stefanski. Unlike Martinez Sanchez, Stefanski does not show as many yellow or red cards.
He officiated 22 matches last season and showed 91 yellow cards, and interestingly, he did not send off a single player directly throughout the entire season.
