UEFA to impose sanction on Bosnia and Herzegovina FA on July 23, BH representative will not be able to attend Disciplinary Committee meeting

UEFA has initiated disciplinary proceedings against the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina based on a report from the match delegate of the Bosnia and Herzegovina - Israel (3:1) match due to inappropriate fan behavior before and during the match, and the official sanction will be imposed on July 23, reports the Patria news agency.

Specifically, Bosnia and Herzegovina is charged with whistling during the playing of the Israeli national anthem and chanting "Palestine", the use of pyrotechnics, as well as "racist behavior by a part of the fans." It is reported that delegates noted that at halftime, fans from the northern stand imitated monkeys by hooting, which the delegate recorded as racist insults.

As we learn, our representative will not be able to attend the UEFA Disciplinary Committee meeting, because, as explained, their rules are clear.

Although the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina immediately reacted and condemned the whistling of the anthem and the use of pyrotechnics, Jasmin Baković, the general secretary of the BH FA, reiterated that racist behavior by fans was not observed.

Nevertheless, the final word will be said by UEFA, and a fine will certainly be imposed, but for the exact amount that the BH FA will have to pay, we will have to wait until July 23.
